Andøya Spaceport is the Norwegian spaceport operating from Andøya in Northern Norway. Strategically located on Andøya in Northern Norway, at 69°N and 16°E, Andøya Spaceport has a prime strategic and geographical location for dual use missions. This northern vantage point, free from significant air and maritime traffic, provides optimal conditions for safe and efficient launch operations over the vast oceans of the high north. Andøya Spaceport is a launch site operator, with the overall responsibility for safety and security in operations. Our license from the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries gives us permission to enable launches from Norway. We are the owner of the spaceport We build / construct and deliver launch and test facilities to Launch Operators and Launch Service Providers.
